As you do the hardest work you'll ever do, as your fresh new baby is lifted to your chest, as you gaze into their eyes for the very first time. Smelling the tops of their heads, kissing those cheeks. The look on your partner's face when they first see the precious new creation you made. Birth photographers are there to capture all of these moments, so you and your partner can be fully present and not worrying about taking pictures.

My birth stories include coverage of your birth at home or at the hospital/birth center from active labor through delivery. I do photograph in the OR should the need for a c-section arise (although this does need prior authorization from your provider and is not currently available at IL hospitals).

Fresh Pine Photography is proud to offer backup photographer coverage to all birth clients. Life happens - if an illness or an emergency in my family were to occur when you go into labor, have no fear! I work closely with multiple reliable, experienced birth photographers to ensure your birth will not be missed for any reason. This is offered to all birth story clients at no additional charge.

Birth stories are offered for home births and hospitals in St. Clair, Madison, and Clinton Counties in IL, and for home births and at hospitals/birth centers in the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area in Missouri. I live in close proximity to all local area hospitals so you do not have to worry about your photographer traveling long distances to your birthing space. Fast labors happen and we are prepared by only accepting clients who live within short driving distance.
